Robinhood CEO Says Dogcoin Has Potential to Become Internet Currency

Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev proves that dogcoin is the native currency of the Internet. Tenev said he has been thinking about "what it takes" since Robinhood enabled the send/receive DOGE feature.

Previously, naysayers derided the platform as a walled garden because it did not support cryptocurrency access to the app. However, after months of discussion, the company finally implemented the feature last week.

Nevertheless, unlocking tokens kept on a single network is not enough to transform Dogcoin into an Internet currency.

Dogcoin takes a step forward by integrating utility.

Despite its reputation as a humorous coin, the Dogcoin Foundation revealed its ambition to offer DOGE usage late last year.
